Process and context
The works begin with a generated line structure selected by Arcos. Acrylic colours are placed on the prepared canvas and a synthetic brush carries and mixes the paint through plotted movements. The plotter is used as an artist-controlled instrument. The planned path establishes movement, while paint load, brush drag, pressure, timing and canvas texture shape the final physical surface.
