Arcos

Cookie and browser storage policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Arcos website uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies. It also explains when third-party services may use their own storage or receive technical request data.

Cart storage

The site uses local storage so the artworks and presentation options selected for the cart remain available while you browse and when you return later. The stored cart contains artwork identifiers and the selected framed or unframed option; it does not contain payment-card details.

Cart information remains in the browser until the cart is changed or cleared, or until browser storage is deleted.

Session and navigation storage

The website framework may use temporary session storage to remember navigation or scroll position during a browsing session. This storage supports site operation and is normally removed when the browser session ends or when session storage is cleared.

Hosting and security

The hosting and security infrastructure may process request data and, where technically necessary, use essential cookies or similar mechanisms to deliver and protect the website. These mechanisms are not used by Arcos for advertising profiling.

Payments and checkout

When you continue to checkout, Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies in its own checkout environment to process payment, prevent fraud, maintain a secure session, and remember checkout settings. Stripe's own privacy and cookie information applies to that environment.

Google Fonts

The website currently loads typefaces through Google Fonts. This does not provide Arcos with an advertising profile, but the browser makes a request to Google's servers to retrieve the font files and sends the technical data needed for that request.

Analytics and advertising storage

The current website does not intentionally use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, or similar cross-site tracking tools.

Because the current site does not intentionally place optional analytics or advertising storage, it does not currently display a marketing-cookie consent banner. If optional analytics or advertising tools are added, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be introduced before activation where required.

Managing browser storage

You can inspect, delete, or block cookies, local storage, and session storage through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting essential storage may clear the cart, reset navigation state, interrupt checkout, or affect other website functions.
