Arcos, Vilnius.

Arcos is a Vilnius-based artist making one-of-one works in acrylic on canvas and ink on paper.

The starting point is a line composition made with code. The plotter then moves a pen along the prepared path on paper or a brush through acrylic paint on canvas.

The movement can be programmed precisely, but the materials still vary. Paint moves and mixes under the brush, ink settles into paper, and small differences in the surface remain visible in the finished work.

New works are made and released in small groups.

Each finished work is signed and is a one-of-one original, not a print or digital edition.
