Lineage
Lineage explores what passes from one generation to the next — memory, origin, patterns and traces of those who came before us.
What is inherited is never carried forward unchanged. It is repeated, altered, interrupted and transformed over time.
The paintings follow the same logic. Related movements and structures recur throughout the series, yet each work develops differently through the way paint, colour and surface interact physically.
Lineage considers inheritance as something living rather than fixed — a continuous transformation connecting what came before, what exists now, and what will follow.
Lineage currently includes two series: Lineage Blanc on white canvas and Lineage Noir on black canvas.

Lineage Blanc
Lineage Blanc is made on white primed cotton canvas. Acrylic colours are placed directly on the canvas before the plotter starts. The plotter then moves a brush along the prepared path, carrying and mixing the paint. The path is programmed, but the paint changes as the brush moves.

Acrylic on black canvas, 50 × 50 cm
Lineage Noir
Lineage Noir is made on black canvas. Acrylic paint is placed directly on the surface, and the plotter moves a brush along the prepared path. The black canvas remains visible between painted areas, making the colour and open spaces more pronounced.
